CAA is currently seeking an Entry-Level Erosion & Sedimentation Control Inspector to support construction oversight and environmental compliance on development sites. 

 Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of construction and land development sites for compliance with erosion and sediment control regulations

  • Document site conditions with reports, checklists, and photo evidence

  • Assist in reviewing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and erosion control measures

  • Monitor best management practices (BMPs) such as silt fences, sediment basins, and inlet protection

  • Maintain organized records and support agency coordination when enforcement is required

  • Participate in training to stay current with stormwater compliance standards

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred

  • Passion for environmental protection and regulatory compliance

  • Basic understanding of erosion and sediment control (training provided)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Bonus: Georgia Erosion and Sediment Control Certification (Level IA or IB) highly preferred
