CAA is currently seeking an Entry-Level Erosion & Sedimentation Control Inspector to support construction oversight and environmental compliance on development sites.
Responsibilities:
-
Conduct routine inspections of construction and land development sites for compliance with erosion and sediment control regulations
-
Document site conditions with reports, checklists, and photo evidence
-
Assist in reviewing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and erosion control measures
-
Monitor best management practices (BMPs) such as silt fences, sediment basins, and inlet protection
-
Maintain organized records and support agency coordination when enforcement is required
-
Participate in training to stay current with stormwater compliance standards
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred

Passion for environmental protection and regulatory compliance
-
Basic understanding of erosion and sediment control (training provided)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Bonus: Georgia Erosion and Sediment Control Certification (Level IA or IB) highly preferred
