The Environmental Associates’ role is to support the Environmental Services Division with providing NPDES stormwater pollution prevention programs to comply with current State Water Board Permits.




Depending upon assignment, duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Responsible for front desk clerical tasks and assisting with the day-to-day administrative functions.


  • Answering phones and emails, in addition to redirecting and/or escalating as appropriate.


  • Perform general clerical duties associated with the operation/business, including filing, maintaining records, copying, and scanning.


  • Assists with editing or proofreading documents and/or reports.


  • Assists with general, administrative support tasks as needed


  • Coordinates meeting set-up including, but not limited to, conference rooms, catering, guest confirmations, etc.


  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times.





High school diploma/GED along with two years of general office experience required. Proficient with Microsoft Office software, Google, and/or PC programs. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Solid organization and time management skills.  Effective verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to work independently, managing multiple responsibilities.

Experience in National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and Stormwater Quality is preferred. it is preferred, but not required, that the candidate be in the process of obtaining a degree in environmental science as well.
