CAA is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Fire Plans Examiner/Inspector for the Inland Empire, California area.
Responsibilities

Review commercial and residential plans for compliance with the California Fire Code and other NFPA Standards and codes, as well as state and local amendments.

Review sprinkler, alarm, ansal system plans, for compliance with NFPA standards and CFC
-
Conduct field inspections of, sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, water supply, fire extinguishers, exiting, and other fire prevention related items as outlined in the Fire Code.

Issue notices of violations for non-compliance; maintain records regarding inspection

Inspect businesses annually to ensure they meet fire code regulations.

Conduct on and off site inspections where required
Requirements
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to conduct fire plans review and inspections in commercial and residential construction which may include fire alarms, fire sprinkler systems, underground systems, hydrants, ansel systems, other types of fire equipment installations. Knowledge of:

Experience in building construction for commercial and residential buildings
