CAA is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Commercial Building Inspector for the North Central part of Georgia.
JOB DESCRIPTION
-
Reviews commercial plans and engineering calculations for building components to insure compliance with applicable codes.

Performs daily field inspections of commercial and public facility construction projects.
-
Provides recommendations regarding interpretations of City, State, Federal, and Construction standards, as well as local ordinances.

Maintains accurate records to document inspections, test results, and additional details pertaining to inspections.

Perform other related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
-
Principles and techniques of commercial building inspection.
-
Knowledge of commercial building construction, materials and methods
-
Experience in building construction for commercial buildings.
-
Pertinent state and local laws, codes and regulations.
-
Ability to provide excellent customer service
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Commercial Inspector or commensurate experience

ICC Certification as a Commercial Inspector (Preferred, but not required)
